Feel Good Friday | Yoga in the Painted Hall


Freedom from distractions makes Painted Hall a suitable environment for the mindful Yoga class that is suitable for beginners and seasoned Yoga personalities. Feel Good Friday is a morning yoga series that occurs on the last Friday of the month. Facilitated by instructors from Kindred Yoga Studio, participants learn the transformative effects of Vinyasa Flow yoga to the backdrop of the Mars installation by Luke Jerram. The session is for 45 minutes each and provides a break from the daily grind of life.
The class is at 8:00 AM and people are advised to bring their own yoga mat, although a few mats will be provided for those who did not bring one. The temperature in the hall for conservation purposes is low, and participants may wish to carry a blanket to cover themselves with during the event.

Chocolate House Greenwich


Chocolate House Greenwich is an art show that is dedicated to the social history of chocolate in the Georgian period. Before recreating the Grace and Thomas Tosier Chocolate House that mark a sign of sophistication in the 18th century. The visitors can learn about the origins of chocolate in Central America and its use in London during Enlightenment period. Discover Greenwich Café also has a special promotion for visitors, which is a hot chocolate.
Other forms of engagement like having historical interpreters portray characters like Grace Tosier and portraying different aspects of life in the past make the exhibition very engaging. Mars in the Painted Hall


Mars in the Painted Hall also includes the stunning 7-meter art installation of Mars by Luke Jerram. The installation provides a visual and an acoustic experience that combines scientific images with a motivating art background. Employing Mars images provided by NASA, the internally illuminated sphere represents a scaled down model of the Martian terrain accompanied by a surround sound piece by Dan Jones.People who will be able to see this amazing installation in the Painted Hall will be able to see the Martian landscape in detail and compare it with the Earth, which is capable of supporting life. Luke Jerram’s work provides an amazing view of history, myth and allegory in an amazing manner, which is on display from November to January.

On Mondays, the Painted Hall opens the Mars installation to social media lovers at a limited number of people. This session is for those who want to take the most beautiful pictures, posing and selfies are welcome here. Less crowd interference benefits photographers specifically because they are then able to move around despite their large equipment to capture pictures from various positions. People are welcome to share their posts on the event using the hashtag #ORNCMars for a chance to be included. This event is ideal for people who wish to capture the beauty of this installation taking pictures while being economical with time and in a creative manner.

The Elves and the Magic Bear | Christmas Show


“The Elves and the Magic Bear” is a holiday show for children and adults to participate in. This is a family show which took place at Admiral’s House and tells the story of how Santa’s Elves found the letters that were never answered just days before Christmas. This means that the show takes the viewers on a singing, magical dancing ride with occasional assistance from the viewers. It guarantees a fun time for the whole family and Mrs. Claus is also around to assist in the rescue After the show is over people are allowed to take photos with the pole dancers and children are given a certificate of being on the nice list signed by Mrs. Claus. There are also options for the show to be more inclusive and have a relaxed performance for everyone. The story and the participation generate beautiful moments for children and adults.
